I’ve never really had sensitive skin before. Then I fell pregnant. The pregnancy hormones seemed to trigger a change in me, and for the first time I’d break out in a red, itchy, uncomfortable rash using my standard products.
My doctor told me it was an allergic reaction or dermatitis, likely induced by pregnancy hormones that made me suddenly hypersensitive to the the body washes and soaps I’d been so used to using every day!
After much trial and error as well as discomfort, I made my way to the pharmacy where I came across some soap for sensitive skin from The Goat Skincare range, made with fresh, permeate free Australian goats milk and sulphate free.
With Manuka Honey
I went straight for the Manuka and I love it. It retail for a reasonable price of around AU$3.60 per bar. It’s so smooth on the skin, and it leaves me feeling soft and fresh. It doesn’t have the sweet smells of some soaps out there, but from what my doctor tells me it’s those artificial scents and perfumes that tend to be one of he triggers of my rashes.
