Baby Einstein Neighbourhood Friends Activity Jumper – Product Review

I’ve been looking for a baby jumperoo for my bub who is now 7 months old. She is starting to get those little legs ready for standing and also starting to bore easily playing with a single toy at a time, so I thought a jumperoo would be perfect for her. I don’t have a  suitable doorway to attach a jumperoo from, so I wanted a floor jumper.

After looking online and instore at many different options, I came across a YouTube review of the Baby Einstein Neighbourhood Friends Activity Jumper from Babies R Us. This particular jumper is apparently also award winning, featuring as one of American Baby Magazine’s Top Picks 2015, with over 60,000 parents voting on their favourite baby gear items.

After checking it out instore, I decided to give it a go. It is absolutely fanstastic! It is a floor based baby jumperoo, has loads of activities, an adjustable height and more.

What's Great About this Baby Jumperoo
  • Loads of activities – My baby gets bored so easily! There is more than one activity to keep little minds busy, including a keyboard with multi-sound settings, sun stalk teething toy,  spinning drum with beads and mirror, spinning bird with beads and spinning frog bead chaser, interlocking loops.
  • Keyboard has 3 sound settings – switch between piano notes, music/melodies, and letters/numbers/language discovery. My little one particularly loves the melodies setting, and I love watching her start jumping to the beats!
  • Seat rotates 360 degrees – This is so great. My little one feels so happy to be able to turn around all the way to play with all 4 play stations. Keeps her interested for longer.
  • Height adjusts – 5 height settings so it can adjust to your baby’s height
  • Washable Seat Cover – Any Mum can support how great this is for messy bubs. I feed my bub while she is in the jumper sometimes, so 5 out of 5 for this feature!
  • Portable – It’s not heavy, and doesn’t need to be suspended from the ceiling or doorway. Pop the jumper in front of the TV and watch those little legs start jumping to the tunes of Sesame Street playing in the background. Or, move the jumper outside so baby can play with you while you have your morning coffee in the backyard. If you are travelling, it folds flat and I found it easy to re-assemble.

What it Costs

The Baby Einstein Neighbourhood Friends Activity Jumper retails for around $149 from Babies R Us Australia.

If you are a bargain hunter and afford to wait a little, you may be able to score yourself one of these jumpers at a discounted price from an overseas seller. However, be aware of postage charges and international exchange rates.

Happy jumping!
