1.1 Submitting personal information is optional, however in some instances withholding information may preclude Visitors and Consumers from certain website functions and limit communications or course of business.

1.2 Information sent to us by you (Visitors and Consumers) includes but is not limited to:

Data and personal information submitted by you via the Website’s online forms such as the contact form, Share a Letter form, email sign-up form, and registration forms pertaining to any active competitions. Such information includes but may not be limited to your name, email address, phone number, country, optional sending of photos, a personal story or experience shared via the Share a Letter form. We also store information about selected options on any radio buttons or check boxes, and comments submitted in free text fields provided on online forms.

ii. Email or web chat communications that occur between DearBub representatives and Visitors or Consumers

iii. Comments and reviews made on the Website as a product review, blog comment, or on other sections of the Website.

iv. Information you agree to supply in response to a competition or survey from DearBub.

1.2 Information collected automatically includes:

i. The collection of your IP address to help our technicians diagnose problems with our server and administer the Website.

ii. Certain information such as your browser, and click data activity on our website. This will be used for internal research only to enable the optimisation of our website, website content, and business services to suit your needs.

DearBub may at some time in the future use third-party advertising companies to serve ads on our behalf who may use an action tag or cookie to track your response to their advertisement. DearBub does not have access or control over the action tags and cookies of third party companies, and does not receive any of your personally identifiable information such as name, contact phone number or address except in accordance with this Privacy Policy. 

3. Use and Disclosure of Information

3.1 Information collected about Visitors and Consumers is used to carry out DearBub website and business functions and includes:

i. Maintaining, administering and improving DearBub business operations

ii. Email delivery, email communications, and marketing to inform Visitors and Consumers about DearBub products and services that might be of interest

v. Maintaining and improving the Website, and personalising Visitor and Consumer online experiences

3.2 Information collected or optionally provided by visitors:

3.22 The use in some instances of Visitor-provided stories and images relating to the Shared Letters submitted by that Visitor may be used within a blog article, or as it relates to marketing of that blog article. This may include use of the images or provided content on social media (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Google+, Pinterest or other) or email campaigns, with the intention of driving visitor traffic to that blog article for marketing purposes. This content and the images remain the copyright and intellectual property of the Visitor who has provided this information, and will not be shared with a third party without the express permission of this visitor.

DearBub reserves the right to edit content and images submitted by Visitors via the Share a Letter form. In some instances, the contents of a submission may require editing and images provided may be edited and/or cropped for suitability to the Website, social platform, or email campaign.

3.23 If you see any information on the Website that is in breach of rights or may be illegal, defamatory, or should otherwise be removed please advise DearBub immediately via the contact form available and where agreed, DearBub or a DearBub representative will do their best to remove it as soon as possible.

3.3 DearBub reserves the right to disclose any information or submitted materials belonging to any person or entity as deemed necessary to identify you in response to a court order or to satisfy any applicable legal process, law, rule, regulation, governmental request or contractual obligation.
